Womb #2

Post by Dunwich »

Taninsamin myrkky on viimein vuodatettu ruokokynällä pergamentille ja saatettu maailmalle painotalon akolyyttien avustuksella. Perinteisten musiikillisiin asioihin keskittyvien haastattelujen sijaan Wombin sisällön pääpaino on esoteerisella ja ideologisella pohdiskelulla - to us, it's more about BLACK and DEATH than METAL...

Sisältöä Womb #2:lla on 28 A4-sivun verran ja haastateltavina yhtyeet
BLOOD RED FOG
COSMIC CHURCH
EMIT
JANVS
RIDE FOR REVENGE
SEPULCHRAL AURA
SERPENT ASCENDING
WODULF

5 € maksu kattaa paperin, musteen, kirjoittaessa ryystetyn kahvin ja postikulut. Yhteydenotot yksityisviestillä.

Myös ykkösnumeroa on jokunen kappale jäljellä, haastatteluina Behexen, Charnel Winds, Dead Reptile Shrine, Hammer, IC Rex, Pestiferous, Verge, Vitsaus ja Xibalba. Molemmat myynnissä yhteishintaan 7 €, nämä tilaukset osoitteeseen wombzine666 (at) hotmail.com

Tarkempaa osviittaa sisällöstä antanevat oheiset Blood Red Fog -haastattelun kysymykset:
===============================================
1. Greetings. Please, give us a introduction to Blood Red Fog's world and the philosophy there lies beyond; what were your first motives when starting a band and how they've evolved since those days?

2. What first springs to my mind of "blood red fog" is crimson haze obscuring vision in moments of extreme anger, which is peculiar regarding melancholic nature of your songs. Could this kind of all-consuming wrath towards human condition be the driving force behind your works? Am I completely off the mark with my interpretation?

3. The tendency of your music is full of negative energy towards the existence of human. When look up your normal life and the life around you, can you see any contradictions between the life you experience and the musical expression of Blood Red Fog? Do you see Blood Red Fog as a channel for the ideas of you hold within you or is it rather a reflection in a way?

4. As both BRF and your other band Lordamor deal with same kind of lyrical topics, do you see them complementing each other? Two separate gateways to the realm of endless death?

5. It's been said that it doesn't matter what race or culture you belong in the end, when the Final Judgement takes its place upon this world. How do you consider it - is all the values we keep important not worth of anything? Are we just plain animals with no greater purpose than follow the instincts?

6. Viewpoint found in some eastern religions as well as in philosophy of Arthur Schopenhauer is that life is ultimately meaningless and only binds one to perpetual suffering. What is your view on this? What about idea of human agony as spiritual tool allowing one to see the grim reality of existence and reach beyond his earthly condition?

7. Can you classify yourself as a idealistic person? Is there really some values you’d like to emphasize and make yourself to be heard conserning certain topics that has matter in your world of ideas?

8. Continuing on the topic of values, nihilism is often associated with both Black Metal and ideal of death, but how do you see this? Is nihilism a step to overcome or the ultimate reality?

9. Could you tell us about the writing process; when the composition idea comes to your head, do you recognize the stimulating force that drives you? The state of mind, the thing that makes your blood pump in your veins.

10. How do you see interaction between the band and the audience in playing live? The problem I see with live shows is that even when the bands approach it as spiritual experience, usually large part of audience sees the show only as a social event and a chance to get wasted and/or laid.

11. "Life is a slow preparation for death" were your words in Grievantee Journal #2. What goals are to be reached in our earthly existence? How should one prepare himself before the final transition?

12. And finally - what kind of values does Black Metal represent to you? What lies in its core?
